One downside is that some of the rooms may appear dated, with peeling paint and banged-up walls.

Hard to enter and exit property

We had a great experience at the Hampton Inn Detroit Northville. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, and the breakfast they provided was delicious. The hotel was always kept very clean. We were pleased with the variety of dining options nearby, such as the Dhaba Indian Kitchen, which was just a short 5-minute walk away.

It was located near all of the things that we wanted to do (movies, dining, shopping). It was very clean.
